Application Open: The Ghost Light Residency

Announcing the launch of The Ghost Light Residency
Created by RGWW Dancers Kevin Zambrano and Bret Easterling

The Ghost Light Residency is bringing life back to the stages of the greater Los Angeles area and supporting the creative endeavors of underrepresented dance theater artists affected by the pandemic through a series of residencies that will take place in varying venues throughout 2021.
Ghost Light is looking for dance theater artists in the Los Angeles community to apply and take part in developing new solo work during the pandemic.
Each selected Ghost Light artist will receive a $1,000 honorarium as well as time and space in a partnering proscenium theater venue. Each application will be added to a lottery based selection system that will be pulled from each time a theater is confirmed.  Our first resident will be chosen mid-February.
Applications due February 8th
The Ghost Light Residency is looking for donors to help support the program and its artists. Costs include: honorarium support, theater rentals, cleaning fees etc. With financial support from the community, more applicants and venues will be able to partake in this project.
Kickstarter Deadline: March 8th
