Brian Getnick is a performance artist and sculptor living in Los Angeles. In 2004, he received his MFA in Fiber and Material Studies at the school of the Art Institute of Chicago. In 2008 he was nominated for the fourth annual performance prize in Trento Italy through the Galleria Civica. Since then he has performed in contexts ranging from queer night clubs to Red Cat; the Roy and Edna Disney Hall showcase for performance art. Dedicated to his city and to enabling the work of fellow Angeleno performance artists, he has recently he has launched Native Strategies, a Los Angeles focused performance art journal and showcase.

Karinne Keithley Syers is an interdisciplinary artist working in performance, print, and audio-video. Her last show, Montgomery Park, or Opulence, won a 2011 Bessie Award for Outstanding Production, and was seen in various stages at Incubator Arts Project, Mt. Tremper Arts, and Here, and was written in residence that MacDowell Colony. Her most recent project Linda, a novella and song cycle, was serialized last fall on Her next show, a performance variation of her dissertation in English (currently being written), will be presented by The Chocolate Factory in Fall 2013. In the past she has collaborated as a performer, sound designer, composer, and video artist, with Sara Smith, David Neumann, Young Jean Lee, Sibyl Kempson, JOYCE CHO, Chris Yon, and she is currently collaborating with Melanie Rios-Glaser and making new investigations into vegetable consciousness at Pieter with James Kidd. Keith Johnson received his MFA in dance with an emphasis in choreography from the University of Utah in 1991, where he also received the Dee R. Winterton Award for Excellence in Dance. Keith has danced in the Ririe/Woodbury Dance Company, Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company, Creach/Koester and Doug Varone and Dancers. Keith has also performed with Spencer/Colton (former Tharp Dancers) in Boston and Janis Brenner in California. In 1998, Keith formed Keith Johnson/Dancers, which has received favorable reviews from the Los Angeles Times and is the recipient of two Lester Horton Awards for Outstanding Choreography and Small Group Ensemble. Keith continues to perform, most recently with Colleen Thomas Dance, Nancy Bannon, Bill Young/Colleen Thomas and Dancers, and Victoria Marks. Keith received the Choo San Goh Award in 2002 for emerging choreographers and has had support from the Dance/USA Foundation.

Melanie Ríos Glaser, Guatemalan choreographer, serves as the Artistic Director for The Wooden Floor. She received her BFA from the Juilliard School in 1994, was named a Kennedy Center Fellow in 1998, and was a Fulbright Scholar in Europe from 2003-2004. She has danced for Sally Silvers and Dancers, Odile Duboc, Ivan Favier amongst others. Her choreographic, improvisational and performance art work has been supported by the NEA and performed at the Montpellier Dance Festival in France, the Sao Paolo Art Biennial and in places around Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, France, Colombia, Philadelphia, New York and in August at the NOW Festival at REDCAT. Melanie enjoys volunteering as a consultant for other nonprofits on issues of nonprofit management, governance, fundraising, and programming.
