Lighting illuminates dance expressively with attention, environment, and drama, enveloping the dancer like a jewel. In this workshop Carol will introduce and discuss the history and basic principles of lighting design for dance and we will learn how to work with Pieter’s new dimmer board, lekos, PAR cans, and light trees through play.

Participants are welcome to bring in projects they are currently working on to experiment with lights under Carol’s expert guidance.
