Join Pieter’s expansive community of dancers, performers, artists, & healers for a special iteration of Open Studio, happening inside the Knees, Schools, Urges exhibition at The Box!

Drop in for open practice atop John Emison’s ‘Pieter Platform’ (a stage, a sculptural object, and a space for visitors to read, rest, and remember) and Milka Djordjevich’s ‘Mirror Stage’, a rehearsal studio installation. See the Knees, Schools, Urges exhibition, contribute to the living archive of LA dance history, and/or stretch-sketch-journal-dream-hang with Pieter friends. Light refreshments and Wi-Fi will be provided.

Accessibility Note: The Box gallery is all on one level and has a rear entrance with a ramp. There are 2 small gender neutral single stall bathrooms on site. Please note that the bathrooms do not have a rail for transfer assistance and have limited space for larger mobility devices.
