South American Week

This workshop series will introduce how rhythm, movement, and story have traveled from Africa, Caribbean, and South America to North America and how it influenced today’s music such as Hip Hop and House.

Each teachers are one of the best teachers of each dance style. They will provide knowledge of musicality, history, and movement of each dance styles. This program’s goal is for participants to deepen their understanding of different rhythms around the world and celebrate each others’ expressions.

The workshop is available to take from single class, yet we highly recommend to sign up for the full course. It will be more beneficial for you.

Heritage Workshop will culminate on Saturday October 24 with a Dance Performance and Party

Open House is presenting American Dance Heritage Workshops, and it is a fundraiser event for Crown Jewel Club that empowers young girls by teaching them basic social skills, how to build their self-esteem and self-confidence and how to succeed in school and in life. All the proceed will be donated to Crown Jewel Club.
