Sunday April 17

woods and studio is a series of dance and living practices that seek to bring together people of color who also identify within the lgbtqi spectrum. organized by taisha paggett and Marbles Jumbo Radio, as well as through conversation with Pieter, woods and studio offers workshops, events and creative practices across three months that build conversation around how we inhabit space–both interior and exterior–and how our bodies are a site of power.

Wrecking Walden // a physical practice
(or qtpoc self care and movement jam)
with marbles jumbo radio

$5-20 suggested sliding scale (no one turned away for lack of funds)

we will rumble, rock, and shake.  stretch, sweat, and articulate.  we will unearth and compost, till and root.  we will be sunday morning jamming.  there will be oatmeal and tea.

Marbles Jumbo Radio’s work spans dance and physical practice, performance and film. Their journey as a dancer and healer has included a lot of formal training, as well as an equal amount of self-directed un-training, somatic practice, self-care, and wilderness-based mind/body research.
