I am writing to share that our department is holding a 30-day search for a pool of Lecturers in Dance to teach undergraduate, studio-based practice courses in Winter and/or Spring quarters 2022.
Applicants in a variety of dance or other embodied practices will be considered, including, but not limited to those with the ability to teach courses in Latin social dances, Black improvisatory practices, Indigenous dance practices, South/Southeast/Asian dance practices, ritual dances, non-Eurocentric approaches to contemporary/modern/postmodern dance and jazz, and decolonial approaches to ballet. Instruction is anticipated to be in-person for Winter and Spring quarters.
Salary is approximately $6,326.59 per 4-unit course, or $3,796.33 per 2-unit course.
