Description:
If you are someone who thinks they don’t belong in a ballet class, who thinks your time has passed to try something new, or who thinks that ballet isn’t for you - think again.

These classes are designed to encourage a joy for movement, to challenge the body for strength and flow (NOT for aesthetics), and develop a supportive community of movers.

These classes are 4 You.

The Beginner Adult Classes provide a safe space to learn something new or rekindle a spark for dance that might have been lost in earlier years. B4L gives people of all backgrounds to reconnect with a mode of movement that isn’t found in traditional ballet classes or typical workout routines.

What to expect:
Ballet4Lyfe is a 90-minute reimagined ballet class for local movers in Los Angeles that emphasizes on inclusivity, somatic approach, and through a modern lens.

Bio:
Adie San Diego is a Filipina-American dance artist based in LA. She holds a BFA in Dance from Point Park University and an MFA in Choreography from CalArts. Her movement derives from her diverse training and performance experience in classical forms, street styles, and improvisational research. Adie’s work has been presented in Raleigh, Durham, Pittsburgh, San Diego, and Los Angeles. She is also the founder of BALLET4LYFE, a series of beginner-intermediate level ballet classes for adults in the LA community.
