Why give?
Since its origins, Pieter has offered a warm, welcoming, and expansive place for artistic exploration and performance, a space for movement artists to meet, see and develop work, and for many, a crucial stepping stone in their creative careers. We are very grateful for all we have been able to create over our 15 year history, but we are also very concerned as we navigate the reality of being a small arts non-profit under this current administration and in the wake of so much recent devastation, especially here in Los Angeles.
We are reaching out to ask for your help.
State and federal cuts to arts funding have been devastating to small organizations like ours. Since January 2025, Pieter has applied for twice as much funding as in years past, and while our proposals have been stronger than ever, we have experienced a 75% cut in the funding we need for general operations, programming, and organizational sustainability.
We need your help to continue Pieter’s legacy of creating a unique home for interdisciplinary movement and performance artists in LA.

Where will your donations go?

$50 will cover 1 month of website hosting fees!
$100 will cover one week of heating/cooling fees!
$500 will cover 1 day of staff costs!
$1000 will cover one month of professional cleaning fees!

$25 will cover 1 hour of subsidized rental for our Pieter Aligned Access Program!
$100 will cover 1 hour of rental for our Gratis Special Events Program!
$1000 will cover artist and production costs for 1 Performance Series Program!
