Presented by: Los Angeles Performance Practice
When: Friday May 30 - Sunday June 1, 2025
Cost: $14.00 - $64.00
Description:
Three days of cutting-edge interdisciplinary performance presented by LAPP! Share in performance art, collective ritual, and more from artists including Paul Outlaw, Nina Sarnelle, and Vanessa Hernandez Cruz.
“LAPP offers the LAX Micro Fest in a time when artists and marginalized communities are in the crosshairs of profound cultural, political urgencies,” says K. Bradford, Director of Programming and Curatorial Platforms.
“Curated around themes of Radical Futures, Liminal Crossings, [and] Origin Stories, the LAX Micro Fest amplifies artists making new work at the edges of possibility and from within the liminal realities and risks of border navigation. Live performance is a lifeline. Join us for this infusion of radical futuring amidst the vital grounding of lineage and origins.”
The LAX Micro Fest is made possible in part by a grant from the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs, and is supported, in part, by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors through the Department of Arts and Culture. Los Angeles Performance Practice is also supported, in part, by The Mellon Foundation, The Perenchio Foundation, and the California Arts Council.
