Saturday Sessions: Slow Flow Yoga with Sasha Jones

Description:

This class will be a slow and grounding practice, appropriate for yogis of all levels - especially beginners! You’ll begin with seated postures and breath work, and move to some longer-held yin poses. You can expect a very restful and restorative class that will leave you feeling relaxed.

What to expect/bring:

This will be a very calm and replenishing class.

We have a very limited number of yoga props in the studio (yoga mats, blocks, pillows and blankets). PLEASE bring any yoga props you might have available to ensure you are able to practice in a supported way!

Practitioner Bio:

Sasha Jones (she/her) has been practicing yoga for 14 years and has been instructing for 9. Her intention with this practice is to bring you closer to yourself. Sasha’s yoga flows often blend breathwork with yin poses to keep you grounded and embodied. Her classes are slow, meditative, and restful.

Accessibility note: The space is located on the 2nd floor with one flight of stairs directly up from the entrance. Elevator access is available; please email pieterrentals@gmail.com prior to the event if you will be using it. The elevator is spacious enough for any mobility device and the 2nd floor space is free of any steps or mobility barriers. There are no automated doors in the building.

There are two all-gender restrooms with three private stalls and a urinal. Each restroom has one stall accessible for mobility device users.

Parking: Free parking is available directly behind our building at 2412 Workman Street. There is an additional city lot south of Broadway on Workman Street. There is also ample metered parking in the neighborhood.
