The Pieter Incubator Series shares stories from people who have been rooted in and nourished by Pieter’s community over the years.

Joy Anderson’s (aka Alegria, she/they) class series, Move into Stillness, has been a fixture of Pieter’s programming for many years. As a space for practicing presence through a vibrant blend of modalities, Move into Stillness embraces Pieter’s commitment to embodiment, curiosity, and community.

Bernard Brown (he/they), is a native Angeleno working in performance and curation. He is deeply invested in performance’s relationship to space and geography, and the histories of people that are often overlooked in the cultural mainstream. His project SISSIES: Something Perfect Between Us opened at Pieter this Friday, June 19.
