In order to rent the studio at Pieter, all renters must first attend one of our in-person New Renter Orientations.

These happen every Monday during Open Studio at 11AM and 1PM and again on the second Saturday of each month at 12PM.

These orientations are an opportunity to check out the space & learn what is expected of you as a renter, meet some of our staff and give us a chance to learn more about you and how you plan on using the space.

Upcoming orientation dates and times are listed on our monthly PROGRAMS calendar.

Orientations are capped at 10 people per session & can only be booked up to 24 hours before the start of the orientation; if your preferred time is not available, it is likely fully booked or the RSVP window has closed.

These orientations take around an hour and RSVP is required. All attendees must RSVP - please do not bring guests.

At the end of your orientation, you will be given a New Renter Inquiry Form to fill out. This gives us a some information about what you’ll be doing in the studio.

Please allow 2-3 business days for staff to review your New Renter Inquiry Form.

Once accepted, you will be sent a link to view our first come first served Community Rentals calendar and you will be ready to start booking!

Full payment is required at the time of booking your rental appointment at Pieter.

Please sign up for a Pieter client account at the end of the booking process to ensure that you have access to all of your rentals in one place.

Use the same name and email every time you make an appointment.

Appointments can be booked 24 hrs in advance up to 90 days out on a first-come, first-serve basis.

You may book at minimum 1 hour and maximum 6 hours at a time using the Community Renter rate.

Bookings over 6 hours incur additional fees; bookings over 8 hours must be booked as a Special Event.

After you book your rental appointment, you will receive:

• A Confirmation Email

  • This email confirms your appointment with the options to reschedule or cancel your appointment at the bottom.

• An Appointment Reminder Email

  • This email will arrive in your inbox 24 hours before each rental appointment and will contain important information such as key codes, lock box codes, WiFi info, the emergency phone number, the Rental Handbook and any specific studio information. 

You will be prompted to agree to our Pieter Release of Liability and our Rental Policy and Space Use Agreement at the time of booking space in the Pieter Performance Space studio.

Community Renters are responsible for booking, rescheduling and canceling their own Community Rentals.

After booking your rental appointment, you will be able to cancel or reschedule your appointment on your own via the links found in your Confirmation Email.
